Once again I have fallen in love with the new Summer Vera Bradley Patterns. I believe there are five new patterns but two really caught my eye. I haven't bought a Vera bag lately so it may be time to treat myself.

Another Movie Weekend
This weekend was another movie weekend.
Saturday night momma and I watched He Loves Me, which was a Lifetime movie that she had dvr'd earlier in the month. Now, I am a big fan of Lifetime but this movie was different then most of their woman=victim and man=bad guy movies. He Loves Me was actually pretty suspenseful and good.
On Sunday night Hubs and I watched The Fighter. I had heard a lot of good things about it and even though it didn't really look like something I would enjoy I knew that Hubs might like it. This movie is long and the first half was very slow. It ended up being okay but nothing like all the reviews made it seem. Last night we watched Yogi Bear. This movie was really cute! I enjoyed it much more then The Fighter. And Hubs even chuckled a few times too.
This isn't a movie review but a book review that I just finished. If you read The Help and liked it then you need to pick up a copy of the Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez. I really enjoyed this book and would certainly recommend adding it to your summer reading list.

Book Reviews
I recently finished Jennifer Weiner's Goodnight Nobody. This was the first book of her's that I have read and I really enjoyed it. It is a chick-lit murder mystery which isn't really something I read a lot of but I would certainly check out something else from her.
I read Broken on the Back Row by Sandi Patty in one day. After getting through the first few chapters were she talks a lot about music I could not put this book down. It was such an inspirational read about how God is always there with us; no matter how down and broken we may think we are.
I am currently reading Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez.

Sara Evans Recap
Last Friday night a few of the women I work with and I went to the Sara Evans concert at Coyote Joes in Charlotte. We went to our favorite little bar and grill to have dinner beforehand.
Tiffany and Whitney are both brand new teachers this year. It has been so nice getting to know them.
Lindsey will kill me for posting this picture. We were taking it and the women in front of Lindsey bumped into her and so we were laughing and this is how it turned out.
Her performance was so good and your ticket price came with her newest CD which I" have been jamming too all week.

The BIg 3-0
Last weekend my friend Megan turned 30.
Megan had asked for a bike and you can see how excited she was when this was wheeled out.
Megan is truly one of the nicest people that I know. She is a wonderful teacher and loves serving God.

Happy 30th Birthday Megan!!!
Tonight is The Bachelor finale.
Will he choose Chantal O?
Or Emily?
I am really hoping that he chooses Emily. She seems so sweet. Plus, shes a Charlotte girl.

Weekend at the Movies
This past weekend we really caught up on our movie watching.
Earlier in the week we watched Like Dandelion Dust which was a made for DVD movie based on the book by christian author Karen Kingsbury. The movie was pretty good but starts out slow.
Friday we watched Love & Other Drugs and let me just say that this movie was horrible. It should have been titled Sex & Other Drugs because that's all it was about. I was embarrassed watching it.
Sunday afternoon it was rainy and the perfect movie day. We watched Due Date, which wasn't a movie that I cared to see, but in the end it was the best one we watched all week. This movie is hilarious. Not quite as good as Hangover but close.

Weight Watchers Weekly Weigh In
I am well aware that my Weight Watchers post never wind up on the same day of the week. Oh well. This week I lost 2.1 lbs!!!!! Yay, that is super exciting for me. I've been very slack for the last 2 months and I'm running out of time to get in bathing suit shape.
I also got in my 10 miles for the week and tried some new WW friendly foods.

Saturday I had to go shopping for my friend's birthday gift and since I had a coupon for a free grilled chicken garden salad I decided to stop by Chic-fil-a. This salad was so good. Of course if you know me then you know that I took all the veggies off and left the chicken and cheese.
I picked these goodies up at the grocery store last week. I had been wanting to try them for a while but at $4.98 for 6 the price was a little steep, especially for the taste. They look better then they taste.

If you like the caramel-coconut Girl Scout cookies then you have to try these. They taste exactly like them but of course this is better for you.

Finally Friday
Faith makes things possible... not easy. I saw this on a church sign last night and loved it so I thought I would share.
I am so glad that it is Friday and even more glad that I don't have a softball tournament this weekend like I have the past two. I plan on a relaxing weekend (hopefully).
My friend Megan is turning 30 next week and her birthday party is tomorrow night. I haven't even gotten her a gift yet.
I finished Water for Elephants and loved it!
I realize how random this post was and I'm sorry. I hope to be a better blogger soon.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Weight Watchers Wednesday
For Weight Watcher Wednesday I thought I would share some of my favorite WW friendly foods. Some of these I may have bragged about before.
I am not a huge fruit person (in fact I used to not eat it at all) but I love me some pineapple. These cups are 2 pts because the pineapple is in juice but they are very convenient to take to work.
I try not to eat too many frozen meals since they are so high in sodium but the Smartones cookie sundae is to yummy to pass up. I heat mine in the microwave for a few seconds and it tastes just like warm cookie dough with ice cream and chocolate syrup.

Another favorite on the go snack of mine is a granola bar. I prefer Quakers Chewy version.
For breakfast every morning I eat a toasted Thomas Everything Bagel Thin with one wedge of Laughing Cow Cheese. Its a total of 4 pts and really fills you up without tasting like your on a diet.
I love chocolate pudding. I've tried the Jello version but still prefer Snack Pack's Sugar Free for only 2 pts.
Please share with me some of your favorite WW friendly products. The only problem that I have with WW is that I feel like I am always eating the same things.
Weekly Weigh In: I haven't done a weekly weigh in in a few weeks because frankly it is to depressing to actually type out and post on here for all of ya'll to see. This week I did lose 1.8 lbs which sounds great but that was only because I had gained each of the weeks before. I know what my problem is... I lack the motivation. All I want to do is eat and its not healthy foods that I'm craving. Bathing suit season is right around the corner and I refuse to go back to a one piece this year after finally being able to wear bi kins again last summer. I just need to get my large booty in gear.
On another note, I mentioned back in January that I was challenging myself to walk 100 miles by March 17th. I am currently at 77.5 miles.
Goals for this week:
*walk 10 miles
*show a loss on the scale for the 2nd week in a row
*go grocery shopping and don't by the same old things
