Homecoming Week 2011: Blast from the Past

The 3rd day of Homecoming Festivities was Blast From the Past Day which happens to be my personal favorite.

Can you guess which decade I did?

Ms. Oliver, one of my co-workers, did my hair. She said that I have the perfect 80's hair.

A few of my students

Homecoming Week 2011: Country Day

The second theme for Homecoming Week was Country Day which at our school is pretty much everyday.

I decided to wear my cousins full camo budy suit which was insultated and it just so happened to be 80 degress outside and just as warm in my classroom. Needless to say I was pretty darn hot!

There are some days that I just don't think I would make it through work without these to to vent too.

Once again these are my students that participated in Country Day.

Homecoming Week 2011: Nerd Day

Let me first apologize for my lack of blogging recently. Theres really no excuse.

The last week of September was our school's Homecoming Week.

Can you guess what Monday was?

NERD DAY!!!!

Or you could do Tacky Day; but who wouldn't want to be a nerd?

Each day I took a picture with my students that had participated in that days dress. Here are my tacky/nerds.

Monograms: A Southern Staple

Does everyone love monograms as much as Southern people?

Both of these necklaces are adorable. I love the pearl detail on the second one.

This will be on my Christmas list.

Takes me back to my sorority days. Except all the monograms then were done with paint pens. Oh, how I loved paint pens.

I want one of these now.

Love this above the bed.

and of course a simple monogram wreath for any and every season

(all of these can be found on Pinterest)

Sorry Ive been missing in action for a while now.

These have been keeping my attention. I just started the second book but I am highly addicted. Dare I say that these are even better then Twilight?
