Nashville

I have already mentioned on here that momma and I are taking a cross country road trip this summer. We are leaving after my last teacher workday and plan on taking our time driving from North Carolina to Sacramento. After staying in Sacramento for a few days (I have a cousin that lives there) we are going to Las Vegas (I have another cousin there). A few days in Vegas and then we will drive back home. We have a lot of fun places picked out to stop and visit a long the way but this is also where I need your help.

I'm sure you can tell from the post title that our first planned stop is Nashville. This will probably just be for dinner. Not sure yet if we're planning on spending our first night in Nashville or driving on a little farther.

Here are a few of the must-eat places we've been told about so far...

Sweets.
Cafeteria style southern cuisine.

McDougals Village Coop.
Known for their delicious chicken tenders.

Arnolds.
Reviewed as the best place to eat in Nashville.

So here's where ya'll come in. Have you ever ate at or heard of these places? Or if your familiar with the Nashville area, what are some other great places to eat?

Spend the night and then go have breakfast at Pancake Pantry down in the West End area. AMAZING!

My parents live in Nashville and I go a few times a year. I have never heard of any of these places. But I love the pancake pantry!! Taylor Swift is a regular there. Be prepared for a wait though. It is tiny and only open for breakfast and lunch.

There is an amazing burger place there but I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me!

Hubs and I LOVE Nashville and go a couple times a year since it is just a few hours away from us. For Good BBQ, you can go to Jacks BBQ downtown off of Broadway. There is also a brewery called Bosco's that has really great food. And if you are looking for a good "meat and three" place I reccommend the Copper Kettle.

Nashville is such a fun place! Hope you enjoy it.
