Week 4 Weigh In

I have finished week 4 of Weight Watchers and was less than thrilled with this weeks results. I gained 1.2 lbs.

I am so frustrated and I know that I shouldn't be. The part that bothers me is that I did so much better food and exercise wise this past week then I did the week before when I lost 3.6 lbs. What gives? So instead of making me work harder; its put me in a mini funk. I will get out of it soon. Between work aggravating me and some other issues I just haven't had the best week of my life. Everything will hopefully get better soon and I can get back to shedding the pounds. How is everyone else doing? I have walked 51 miles in my 100 miles by March 17 challenge so I am well on schedule of meeting that goal. I also have a hour massage scheduled for this afternoon (much needed) and I'm meeting some friends for Mexican food afterwards (not good for the diet but still my favorite). Both of these will definitely help relieve some stress.

Hang in there! I feel you! I think I am going to start printing on my food tracker (I do online ww) and looking at what I ate on the weeks i lost the most. Of course some weeks I track better than others. :/ It's a slow process, isn't it! But determined to shed this weight for good. Good luck to you!!!!! :)

Don't stress about it too much!! Four weeks in (I am at the same point)is always a little rough. All week I thought I had gained (well, I guess I temporarily did gain) and then magically yesterday on weigh in day I was down .4 from my previous weight. So it seems to change drastically from day to day.

Also if you were better with your workouts this week... keep in mind that you're building muscle. Yes, it might make your weight loss appear to slow down, but in the long run that muscle will burn more calories and you'll be cutting fat. You know?

I know it is annoying to see a gain but keep at it. Like I said on my blog yesterday- WW is simple, but it is HARD. If you keep eating right and exercising it will even out and you'll see the numbers on the scale going down.

You are doing great! I was upset a few weeks ago and I got an email telling me to just have fun with it. I also had another email talking about how this girl weighed one weight and was a size 6 and then weight a few lbs more but was a 4. So we can't always go off of the scale. I'm the same way and get discouraged when I don't see that number move though. I've definitely found that when I work out because I like it, it's more beneficial... when I work out because I feel like I haaaave tooo... the lbs seem to never shed. Give yourself a day to bounce back and do what makes you happy!

Hang in there girlfriend! I am doing WW, too, and I feel your pain! It is so rewarding to lose that 3.6 or 3.8 pounds like I did last week, but then slip a little. You can do it! You just have to refocus yourself and don't let the stress get to you!

Just stick with it! :) And enjoy your massage - I'm jealous!

We do have Panthers season tickets, which doesn't say much right now. It takes us about three hours to get to Charlotte, since we're coming from southern VA.

Hang in there! Keep up with what you have been doing and you will see the losses again. And way to go already being halfway to your goal of 100 miles.
