Can you believe that it is December? It feels like this year has flown by. It is true when they say that as you get older time seems to go by faster. To try and get in the Christmas spirit I thought I would share a few of my favorite things of the holiday season.
Does anyone else love all the holiday movies? I love watching the made for tv ones. Hallmark, Lifetime and ABC Family are some of the best channels for watching Christmas movies.
This is the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, NC. For Christmas they decorate it beautifully (as you can see from this picture). They also do a live nativity scene and horse drawn sleigh rides. I went 2 years ago and hope to go back this year.
I love candles (or lights) in the windows of houses. I think it is so festive and classy looking.
And of course what Christmas season would be complete without the best Christmas movie of all time. I could watch Christmas Vacation a million times and never be tired of it. What are some of your favorite things during the Christmas season?

I'm so with you on watching Lifetime and ABC Family. Something about cheesy made-for-TV Christmas movies is just wonderful!
