Ridin Shotgun

Dove hunting has begun...

Hubs spent Labor Day dressed in camo; sitting in the pasture.

He got 2. One during the morning hunt and then this one later in the afternoon.

I went out and set with him during his afternoon hunt. I read while he hunted. Every time he would shoot he would have to tell me to cover my ears.

My parents land. I was lucky enough to grow up in the country.

Looking for his bird

It was so nice to just sit outside. The weather was perfect and the company was even better.

In case you were wondering what in the world this blog title has to do with my post; allow me to explain. Hubs hunted on my parents land and when we were driving back up to the house I asked Hubs where the dove was and he said it was "riding shotgun, literally".

Your parent's land is beautiful! I love the country. There is just something so peaceful about it.

That is how my husband has been spending his mornings! I think he would be so jealous of the land your parents have!

Your parent's land is beautiful and scenic! I was blessed to grow up in the country too, and I still live out in the boonies!
