The Good and The Just Plain Horrible

I thought I would share some books I've read since my summer vacation has started.

I actually just finished this book last night. It is not the first Barbara Delinsky book that I've read and I have enjoyed all of hers so far. This book is about a widow who ends up pregnant so the three women that live beside her all start to worry that one of their husbands must be the father. While it was predictable it was still a pretty good book.

DO NOT WASTE A MINUTE OF YOUR LIFE ON THIS BOOK!!! It really was that bad. I couldn't finish it. I am being completely honest when I say that this was the worst book I have ever tried to read.

I have become such a big fan of Diane Chamberlain. After reading The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes I decided to check out a few of her other books. Summer's Child is the only one I've read so far but I loved it. She is such a great story teller. If you haven't checked out anything by her yet, please do.

ooohh thanks for sharing! I have been looking for some good summer reads- I always fly through books in a couple of days so its hard to constantly find something new to read! You should keep doing reviews of books that you read!

Good suggestions and advice. I gave up my People subscription to read more. I'm reading the Undomestic Goddess. HILARIOUS!

Thanks for the book reviews! I needed some new books to add to my list...I'm going to see if the library has any of the Diane Chamberlain books.

Great Reviews! I will have to buy a copy of "The Woman Next Door", it sounds good! I'm sad to hear that the Danielle Steel book wasn't great, I usually love her! Have a great day! ~Andrea
