Weekend Review

Sorry that my weekend review is a day late but as you can tell I have been slacking in the blogging department. I promise to get better.

Friday I was supposed to have a softball game but the weather postponed it so instead I stayed at school late and worked on some things in my classroom. Later that night we met my parents and brother and sister-in-law for dinner at one of our favorite local places. We came back to our house to watch some of the ACC tournament and I headed to bed early since I was still feeling bad.

Saturday we relaxed at home until about 3pm. We went to downtown Charlotte for dinner and to watch some more of the ACC tournament. We decided on Blackfinns American Saloon. The food wasn't that great but the atmosphere was nice and we had this for dessert:

This is not an actual picture of ours but it is the closest thing I could find on Google. It was called dessert sliders and it was 8 huge chocolate chip cookies put together to make 4 ice cream sandwich's with warm chocolate sauce for dipping. Delicious!!!
After the game was over and we had stuffed ourselves we met my brother and sister-in-law at the hockey game. We had great seats and there were lots of fights so it was a fun time.
Sunday we went to church and then had Mexican food for lunch. That afternoon we went to the movies to see Shutter Island.
It was pretty good. Kind of weird but I would say it is worth seeing. It really makes you question insanity and the way that people think.

This week is going to be very busy (it seems like I say that every week, which I probably do). I have 3 softball games including one this afternoon.
