Let me start off by saying that I am not a political person at all. I loved George and Laura Bush and I could certainly see the connection with this books characters. While American Wife was somewhat difficult to read and was not a book that I was able to read as fast as I normally do; it was worth the time. A lot of the political jargon got on my nerves but other than that it was a great read. If you haven't read this book so far then make sure you add it to your summer reading list. I am currently reading This Side Of Heaven by Karen Kingsbury. I have shared before how big of a fan I am of her books.
I am sure that this one will not disappoint.
