Recipe Wednesday

I have finally decided what I'm going to do for my weekly Wednesday blog. Recipes! I love food... if you couldn't tell already; and love to cook. So I thought I would share all my (and my momma's, of course) recipes with ya'll. Today's recipe is for the best lasagna ever! I made it last week and Hubs loved it. I am making it for my parents tomorrow night during our weekly dinner. I don't have any pictures but everyone knows what lasagna looks like. So Yummy!

LIGHTNING LASAGNA

1 (32 ounces) container Ricotta Cheese
1 egg1 (28 ounces) jar pasta sauce
9 lasagna noodles, uncooked*
4 cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese (16 ounces)
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 lb of hamburger meat

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cook hamburger meat and drain. Mix with sauce. Mix ricotta cheese and egg until well blended. Layer 3/4 cup pasta sauce, 3 noodles, 1/2 ricotta mixture and 1 1/2 cups mozzarella in a 13x9 inch baking dish. Repeat layers once. Top with remaining noodles and sauce. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 15 minutes longer or until the noodles are tender. Let stand for about 10 minutes before serving.

Thanks for the sweet comments! :) I teach 9th grade (that's jr high here) Civics. A true test to my patience on a daily basis!!! I am convinced that I will be a better parent b/c of my years teaching! My hubby is a jr high asst principal, so I'm sure the same can be said for him as well! :)

I'm going to add you to my prayer list...I've seen God send three of my blog buddies their little miracle babies just last month! He is so faithful.
